The NPORS 360 Digger Training course is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to operate a 360-degree excavator safely, efficiently, and proficiently in various construction activities. This 360 digger training encompasses a wide range of topics, making it a valuable asset for individuals seeking a career in the construction industry or those looking to enhance their existing skill set.
The 360 digger training course begins by focusing on essential aspects of equipment safety and maintenance. Participants learn how to perform pre-use inspections and handovers, ensuring that the 360 excavator is in optimal condition before operation. This not only promotes the safety of the operator and those on the job site but also prolongs the machine’s lifespan.
Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently is a key component of the training. Participants will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to manipulate the machine’s controls with precision, enabling them to perform tasks like trenching, backfilling, levelling, and marking out accurately. This not only enhances productivity but also minimises the risk of accidents.
The versatility of the training program is a notable feature, with variations available to cater to different needs. Participants can choose between wheeled or tracked excavators and select machines ranging from 1 to 10 tonnes or those above 10 tonnes.
This qualification has been developed for those already working, or preparing to work, in the industry and who will be using a 360 excavator as part of their working duties.
